Walter Sisulu University claims victory at FNB Varsity Cup

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Vikings failed to tame the Walter Sisulu University (WSU) Vikings, losing 17-13 to the log leaders following a game that played at 18:30 20 February 2017, at TUT Pretoria campus.

The visitors bagged 10 points to half time, with WSU in the lead with 10-0 score to TUT Vikings.

At 25 Min into the first half a yellow card was issued to the TUT Vikings with no penalty. At second half TUT made strong attack making a huge come back of 13 points.

WSU Vikings tightened the defence and scored a brilliant 7 points making a lead of 17-13 to full time.

The game ended with WSU 17 – TUT 13.
